Mr. Soliman is the co-founder and vice chairman of Al Ahram. In 1978, he joined Hector Forty Securities Brokerage as a representative, and three years later he was promoted to stockbroker. After six years of hard work and perseverance, Mr. Soliman partnered with his brother to form Nassef and Soliman Nazmy Securities Brokerage in 1987 which was later transformed to Al Ahram Securities Brokerage in 1994.
Carrying on the legacy of his brother, Mr. Soliman brings in more than 40 years of experience in the field of brokerage and investments. He is recognized as one of the prominent financiers of his generation with an unprecedented reputation of expertise and integrity. Mr. Soliman’s reputation earned him the trust and respect of many businessmen in the region who deem him as their partner and advisor with regards to their investment decisions.
In 2013, Mr. Soliman was elected board member of the Egyptian Exchange representing brokerage firms. Upon completion of his four-year duty at the Egyptian Exchange, Mr. Soliman was honored by H.E. Dr. Sahar Nasr - Minister of Investment and International Cooperation and Dr. Mohamed Omran – Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange for his contributions to the Egyptian Exchange. From 2017-2023, Mr. Soliman served as the head of the Capital Market Advisory Committee – a committee of 10 leading financiers reporting to the chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority. The committee is responsible for discussing standards and amendments in the fields of Asset Management, Investment Banking and Brokerage. Adding to his contributions to the industry, Mr. Soliman was appointed as the head of the Egyptian Securities Federation Founding Committee from 2019 until 2023. Mr. Soliman has also served as board member of the Egyptian Exchange from 2020 up until 2021.
